[Eoscstudents] Blackboard Global DNS Issue

Blackboard Inc. reported a global DNS issue that prevented some DNS servers
from forwarding traffic to our Blackboard.



They believe the issue has been resolved, but it could take time for the
fix to propagate.



Please try the following if you are still having problems.







Windows:

Using the Start Menu at the center (or left edge) of your screen: ...

Enter CMD into the text box and then select the Command Prompt program.

A new black window will appear. ...

Type ipconfig /flushdns and press ENTER (please note: there is a space
between ipconfig and /flushdns)



Mac:

Open the terminal by using Spotlight Search or by pressing Command + Space
and then type Terminal.

Double click the application icon for Terminal to open it.

Type the following:

sudo dscacheutil -flushcache;sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder

press enter

Enter your Mac’s password

Press Enter to complete
