[Eoscstudents] Commencement Instructions & Optional Walkthrough

Dear Graduates,

Congratulations on reaching this incredible milestone! We are looking
forward to celebrating with you at Commencement on Friday, May 2 at the
C.C. Dunlap Fieldhouse in Wilburton.

*Arrival & Assembly Times:*

– 5:00 p.m. for the 5:30 p.m. ceremony

– 7:00 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. ceremony

Please gather on the sidewalk behind the E.E. Tourtelotte Student Center
with your blue name card in hand.

Be sure to list your hometown and, if you’re continuing your education,
where you’re transferring to. This will be read as you cross the stage. If
you don’t have your card, Julie Lawrence will have extras available at
line-up.

*Processional:*

– Ushers Phillip Hawthorne and Paul Wills will lead graduates following the
faculty.

*– Processional order:*


   1.

   Top ten percent of graduates
   2.

   Outstanding graduates of each division (not in the top ten percent)
   3.

   Phi Theta Kappa members (not in the top ten percent)
   4.

   Remainder of graduates

   – Please maintain spacing and remain standing for the National Anthem.

*Conferring of Degrees:*

– President Wansick and Dr. Randy Harp will confer degrees.

– When directed, present your blue name card to Hannah Truitt, walk across
the stage, take your photo, and return to your seat.

*Top 10% Recognition*

Please check the attached list to see if you’re included in the Top 10% of
the graduating class.

If you believe your name is missing, please see Sandra in the Registrar’s
Office as soon as possible.

*Optional Walkthrough:*

We’ll hold a short walkthrough on Thursday, May 1 at 2:00 p.m. in the
Fieldhouse. Attendance is optional, but helpful!
