[Eoscstudents] Eastern Closure--Rave Alert--January 28, 2026

*Students, Faculty, and Staff of Eastern Oklahoma State College,*

Eastern has experienced technical difficulties with the *Rave Alert system*.
At this time, *offices are closed and classes are cancelled only for
Wednesday, January 28*, as stated in the email below.

All closures and cancellations will be determined *on a day-by-day basis*.
You will receive an email tomorrow with information regarding the
College’s *opening
or closure for Thursday*.

*Please disregard the Rave Alert related to the February 2–4 dates.*

Due to continued icy road conditions and out of an abundance of
caution, *Eastern
Oklahoma State College will close the Wilburton and McAlester campuses on
Wednesday, January 28, 2026*.


All classes at the *Antlers, Idabel, McAlester, and Wilburton campuses* are
*cancelled* for *Wednesday, January 28, 2026*.


Because road conditions may remain unsafe, please continue to monitor your
Eastern *email**, **Eastern’s website**, *and *Eastern’s social media
channels* for updates regarding the College’s schedule for Thursday, January
29, 2026*.*

circumstances and remain safe.
