I wanted to share the OASFAA agenda with you.  This is the tentative listing
of sessions, speakers, etc. for the fall conference.  The final agenda will
be posted to the OASFAA website soon.  If you have any questions please let

                          “Go with the Flows”-Salon 

Do you ever wonder why you send some certifications to the lender, some to
the    guarantor, and some to the servicer? Why you receive funds from many
different institutions while another school receives all of their funds from
just one place? What exactly does a guarantor do? What does a lender do?
What does a servicer do? This session will bring to light the major FFELP
players, as well as the available loan processing flows, including the
vocabulary used by everyone involved with those flows. You will also gain a
deeper understanding of your current loan processes and new tools to assist
you in controlling and streamlining your processing.

Okcollegestart.org is the Oklahoma State Regents’ comprehensive Web-based
information portal and the “one-stop” for planning a college or university
education.  This session will explore the functions of the site, including
the college exploration and the online college application capability, as
well as update                  the status of the site since the beginning
of its development in 2005.

As we all know February is Financial Aid Awareness month.  For those of you
wanting to continue on with the tradition of College Goal Sunday come join a
round table discussion to share ideas for promoting Financial Aid at your
institution.
