[Lender] 2009-10 FFELP Interest Rates

The U.S. Department of Education recently announced 2009-10 FFELP
interest rates. Effective July 1, 2009, the interest rates on new FFELP
loans will be fixed at: 
*	5.60% for undergraduate Federal Stafford Subsidized loans;
*	6.80% for graduate Federal Stafford Subsidized loans;
*	6.80% for undergraduate and graduate Federal Stafford
Unsubsidized loans; and
*	8.50% for Federal PLUS loans. 

	Interest rates for variable rate loans disbursed between July 1,
1998 and June 30, 2006 are set at:
*	1.88% for Federal Stafford Subsidized and Unsubsidized loans
during in-school, grace and deferment status; and
*	2.48% during repayment or forbearance. 
Additionally, the interest rate on Federal PLUS loans made between July
1, 1998 and June 30, 2006 is 3.28%.
