The United States Department of Education (ED) issues a Dear Colleague
letter <http://ifap.ed.gov/dpcletters/FP1201.html>  on January 20, which
includes important guidance for lenders and servicers on completing the
Loan Verification Certificates for the new Special Direct Consolidation
Loans.

Further updates from ED on the Special Direct Consolidation Loans will
be communicated on the IFAP and Financial Partners web sites.
