Good Evening Main Street.

Attached is the self-evaluation/rating form for your annual accreditation/program review.  Please complete the form (with board input) and email it to your liaison prior to the visit.  The program review is the same as the accreditation evaluation if you are an Oklahoma Designated Main Street.  If your program is a new Designated Main Street or an Associate Main Street, then the assessment is a tool to gauge progress.  In all cases, please coordinate a date for the accreditation/program review with your liaison.  "Accredited" and "Affiliate" reporting is due to the National Main Street Center by March, 2022.  Below is zoom call invitation regarding the forms and process for those that need more information.  The self-evaluation and visit are designed to help the program become more focused and stronger.

In 2019 the OMSC asked Kathy LaPlante with the National Main Street Center to conduct some of the accreditation/program reviews, and Norma Miess will conduct them this year for Tahlequah, Altus, Claremore, Hobart, Sapulpa and Okmulgee.  New accreditation standards will be implemented in 2023 and informational training sessions are planned for 2022.  The Oklahoma Main Street Center participated in the new accreditation standards advisory group.
