GAMSA 2018




The 2018 Great American Main Street Award application<http://mainstreet.us9.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=98b5ccb1e126334c8e604522a&id=e2200645db&e=d1d266dc24> is now open!
Please remember programs must be an accredited Main Street America program to apply and past winners are not eligible. Applications, along with the $150 application fee, are due by midnight (CT) Monday, July 17. Semi-finalists will be announced in mid-August. The National Main Street Center is pleased to welcome John Chomiak as Vice President of Finance and Administration and Diane Crawford as the Temporary Administrative Assistant.  John was able to join all of us in Pittsburgh, but officially started on May 15 and Diane started on May 9.  They are both based out of the Chicago office.

2017 Main Street America Programs




Last week we officially announced the 2017 Main Street America Accredited and Affiliate programs<http://mainstreet.us9.list-manage.com/track/click?u=98b5ccb1e126334c8e604522a&id=42e643891c&e=d1d266dc24> on our website.  All 2017 Accredited and Affiliate programs will be receiving a press release they can use locally along with a certificate.  Many programs picked up their certificate in Pittsburgh, but we will be mailing out certificates that were not picked up.
