[MainstreetTowns] Relationship with the Chamber

Our relationship with the Chamber is great . they are probably one of our
best partners.  Separate offices, but the director is ex-officio on the Main
Street board.  We do a lot of events together, volunteer for one another,
etc.  We meet weekly.

What is your relationship with the Chamber like in your community? How many
share office space or rent from the same building as the Chamber? Who has
shared equipment?

 

We currently rent an office from the Chamber, who owns the building. We get
electricity for free, share the cost of printing and internet, and we pay
for our own phone. Rent is a good deal, especially for the size office we
have.
