Good afternoon OACRAO Members: 

 

The 2011 COI Policy Workshop Webinar will be held Thursday, July 14,
1:00 - 4:30 p.m.   All COI members are invited to attend as well as any
staff members who will benefit from the discussions.  Please see
Miranda's instructions below and an agenda and follow-up email with the
link to the materials are also attached.  I wanted to send one email
with all of the information so review carefully!  Thanks Miranda for
getting this all worked out.  

 

Topics covered will include:

 

*            System Overview and Function Policy Update;

*            Academic Programs and Related Policies;

*            Accreditation, Admission and Student Related Policies; and

*            Teacher Education Policies.

 

The workshop will be in the form of a webinar.  In the next few days, we
will send an email with a website address and further information on how
to get to the webinar.  The website will have the URL for the webinar,
the policy manual, the procedures handbook, and additional resource
information.    You will be able to log in to the webinar from your
office or a conference room.  Once you go to the webinar link you will
have to download the Codec software onto your machine to be able to view
the webinar.  Additionally, the State Regents equipment is not
compatible with Mac or Apple machines.  Log in information will be
provided along with the other materials.  

 

Additionally, if you would like to attend the policy workshop in person,
there will be limited space available for that purpose.  The webinar
will take place in the Regents Conference Room - State Regents' office
and the space will be first come first serve.  If you plan to attend in
person, you MUST respond to this email and let us know.  There is a
limit of two people per campus who may attend in person, since space is
so limited.

 

There is no charge for this workshop nor is there any registration, we
only ask that you respond and let us know if you plan to attend in
person or who the two attendees will be from your campus.  

 

The preliminary agenda for the meeting is attached.  Please print and
bring any handouts from the website that you will need, as there will be
only copies of the agenda available at the workshop.
