Kristie,

Our graduation fee is $35.00, with an additional late fee of $25.00 if they apply after our priority deadlines. The deadlines are November 1 for Spring, March 1 for Summer, and July 1 for Fall.
The fee is charged to the student's account at the time of application....we do not collect it.
We put Student Name and Major (and Honors status) in the commencement program...not Home Town.
We give students only a diploma cover at the ceremony....diplomas are mailed later after grades are in and certification is complete.
Receptions are up to the specific academic college's discretion either before or after the ceremony.
Our diplomas are printed in-house using Scrip-Safe.

We are talking about our commencement/graduation process here at Southeastern and were wondering what others are doing:


1.       What is your graduation fee?

6.       Are your diplomas:   _____Printed in House     ______Printed by an outside vendor (ex: Jostens)

Currently, we charge a $25 fee that is due when approved for graduation.  We list everything in the program-name, hometown, major, honor status.    We hand out a rolled "Commencement Poster" at the ceremony and have a University-wide reception afterwards.    Our diplomas are printed by Jostens.
