[Oacrao-l] High School Transcripts and HIPAA

[Stringfellow, Alan]

More and more high schools are including a student's vaccination record with their high school transcripts.  I am concerned that if I scan the document with that information I am then archiving "medical" records and, therefore, subject to HIPAA.   Does anyone else have this concern?
