Our Campus Convenience Store and Campus Bookstore are operated by
third-party vendors. Any student debt  owed to the vendor is incurred at the
vendor's own risk. The Academic Records Office and the Business Office do
not initiate holds at the request of third-party vendors,  or outside
entities.

Our campus store is managed by a third-party vendor and they have requested
that a hold be placed on a student's account who owes them money.  They are
asking that the student be prohibited from enrolling in classes, receiving
transcript or their diploma.  I don't feel comfortable in doing this being
that the money owed is to an outside entity and not directly to ORU.  For
those of you whose campus store is handled in such a manner, how would you
handle such a request?
