[Oacrao-l] non-credit and auxiliary

Our Day Care has their own billing company and it doesn't affect their TU bill, but everything else does, including Continuing Education and our School that is for kindergarten through 8th grade.  A bill is a bill, so any money owed to the University will hold up registration, transcripts and diplomas.

If your campus offers non-credit training courses or auxiliary services (such as a daycare center), are those programs managed/registered/billed through your academic student information system or do they utilize a separate system?

For example: if a student owes money for a non-credit professional development course or to your daycare center, do those areas have the authority to put a hold on the student's account that would restrict enrollment or prevent a transcript being released?
