[Oacrao-l] OACRAO Professional Development Scholarship Available

The Oklahoma Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers recognizes the importance of participation in professional development for every member. This scholarship was created to encourage and support members who wish to attend conferences; however, due to institutional or personal funding limitations may not have the opportunity to participate state, regional, or national conferences.



The scholarship will be awarded to as many recipients as possible with available funding from OACRAO. At minimum, the scholarship will cover early-bird registration and may provide additional support if available.



The Scholarship Committee (appointed by the OACRAO Executive Committee) will choose the scholarship recipient(s) based on the following considerations:

1.     Years in profession & years in position

2.     Previous professional service and indication of continued service to the profession

3.     Previous professional experience and professional goals

4.     Current or previous barriers to professional development experiences

5.     Institutional support

AACRAO - Baltimore, MD


OACRAO - Edmond, OK


Feb. 1 - 4, 2015


April 12 - 15, 2015


Sept. 30 - Oct. 2, 2015
