[Oacrao-l] University withdrawals

David, at ECU students come into the Admissions and Records Office (Registrar's Office) to withdraw. The form must be signed by our Financial Aid and Bursar's Offices before bringing it back to Admissions/Records to process. Although our Housing Office isn't directly notified, they run a weekly report to find out who has dropped below full-time since students can't live in campus housing if they are less than full-time. If the student is an athlete, we send them to the Athletic Department's Compliance Officer for clearance prior to dropping and if it's an International student, they're sent to the International Office for clearance. If it's a veteran, our Veterans Office also runs a weekly report to find their students who drop. In addition, our Assessment/Institutional Research Office is notified (for assessment and retention purposes) via the students exit interview form, which we send to them.
