[Oacrao-l] Waiver of official transcript

Good afternoon. CSC requires the transfer student to provide an official transcript after one semester. Otherwise, an 'R' hold is in place and prevents the student from obtaining an official transcript from CSC, enrolling, etc. until an official from the previous institution(s) are received.

Greetings and happy Friday! I realize that some of you may not see this message until Monday as your institution is closed today. I hold no bitterness towards those of you whose institution follows such a practice :).

I assume there may be, on rare occasion, situations where you may waive the need for a transfer student to submit a transcript (unofficial or official). Do you ever allow that decision to be made by the student? In other words, the student is asking that they not be required to obtain a transcript from a particular college (for whatever reason) regardless of whether or not they repeat coursework that has already been completed. In either situation, how does that factor into SAP determination?

I'm pretty sure I know how you will respond, but I was asked to inquire.....so I am :).
