[Oacrao-l] Pre-requisite classes

OBU is similar to Southeastern and UCO. Most of our prerequisite courses require a grade of 'D'. Courses in a major require prerequisite courses to be passed with a grade of 'C'.

At Southeastern, the student has to pass the prerequisite with a “D” or better. We do have some specific courses in which a grade of “C” or better is required. For example, Principles of Biology I must be completed with a “C” or better before taking Principles of Biology II. Accounting majors must have at least a “C” in the first accounting course (financial) before taking the next (managerial). Any of these special circumstances are listed in our catalog with the degree requirements or in the course descriptions.

Apparently today is question day J . 

Do you have a minimum grade requirement that a student needs to have in a pre-requisite course or simply that they complete it. For example, if you require that a student have College Algebra to enroll in Elementary Statistics do you require that they have a “C” in College Algebra or would you let them enroll in Elementary Statistics even if they had a “D” in College Algebra?
