You may have heard about the recent sanctions that the United States Department of Education<http://www.ed.gov/news/press-releases/department-education-bans-itt-enrolling-new-title-iv-students-adds-tough-new-financial-oversight> placed upon ITT Technical Institute (ITT-Tech). As a result of these sanctions, ITT-Tech announced this morning<http://www.ittesi.com/2016-09-06-ITT-Educational-Services-Inc-to-Cease-Operations-at-all-ITT-Technical-Institutes-Following-Federal-Actions> that it will cease educational operations at all of its campuses, effective immediately.

It is important to note that in an email announcing its closure to students, ITT-Tech included a link<http://d31hzlhk6di2h5.cloudfront.net/20160905/a9/65/c1/46/ab538c872ac4798c4970c1fb/List-of-Institutions.pdf> identifying the higher education institutions that are within a reasonable proximity to an ITT campus and offer programs of study similar to those offered by ITT-Tech.  This link lists programs at many of our state system institutions, including:

*         Connors State College

*         Northeastern State University

*         Oklahoma City Community College

*         Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City

*         Oklahoma State University-Information Technology

*         Redlands Community College

*         Rogers State University

*         Rose State College

*         Seminole State College

*         Tulsa Community College
As such, some of these state system institutions may encounter a high volume of displaced ITT-Tech students seeking information regarding admission, course transferability, and enrollment.

As background, among its 130 campuses in 38 states, ITT-Tech operated campuses in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.  According to data published by the National Center for Educational Statistics, during the Fall 2015 semester, the ITT-Tech Oklahoma City Campus enrolled 258 students and the ITT-Tech Tulsa Campus enrolled 386 students.

While all ITT-Tech campuses are officially closed, it is our understanding that students can request an official transcript via the ITT-Tech student portal<https://studentportal.itt-tech.edu/CookieAuth.dll?GetLogon?curl=Z2F&reason=0&formdir=17> while graduates can request an official transcript via the ITT-Tech alumni website<http://alumni.itt-tech.edu/update/?type=transcript>.
