[Oacrao-l] Course Credit for Varsity Athletics

Good Morning Dr. Bird,
At NOC we award credit for varsity athletics.  There are syllabi provided to the student athletes.  A letter grade is awarded.  Per OSRHE policy, the grade calculation is not in the retention/graduation gpa.

I have a couple of quick questions about course credit for varsity athletics.  First, does your institution award course credit for students who complete in NCAA or NAIA athletics?  Second, do those courses have syllabi and course descriptions that are listed in your academic catalogs?  Finally, if so, do students earn a letter grade in those courses or is it graded on a P/NP scale?
