[Oacrao-l] Course Credit for Varsity Athletics

The University of Tulsa stopped giving credit for athletics about 15 years ago.  There is no mention of athletics on the student’s transcript.

Good morning.

I have a couple of quick questions about course credit for varsity athletics.  First, does your institution award course credit for students who complete in NCAA or NAIA athletics?  Second, do those courses have syllabi and course descriptions that are listed in your academic catalogs?  Finally, if so, do students earn a letter grade in those courses or is it graded on a P/NP scale?
