[Oacrao-l] Academic Reprieve/Renewal Process

Hi,

At Southeastern, we usually require the student to be enrolled before granting an academic reprieve or renewal.  Our primary reason for this is to make sure we do not create a "transcript" for someone who may never attend Southeastern.  We occasionally make some exceptions to this policy.  Example:  a former student who already has a transcript with us and needs the reprieve for readmission or financial aid purposes prior to enrollment.

Does your institution require a student to be currently enrolled I order for them to be eligible for an academic reprieve/renewal to be processed? I've reviewed the State Regents Policy & Procedures and didn't see any guidance on that aspect of it.
