[Oacrao-l] Practices on Designating Honors Courses

We have honors courses.

We designate that the course is honors on their transcript.  We put it under course comment (SHRTCKN_Course_Comment).  We also have a GPA bump of .25.

Hello OACRAO,

Recently CSC has begun offering special designation for those meeting specific criteria in a course, an option to have an honors designation for the course on their academic record. I have been asked by my VPAA to reach out to my colleagues to see if/how honors courses are designated on other institutions academic records.

Additionally, CSC is a Banner school, so anything specific to this system could be of particular intrest.
