[Oacrao-l] Certificates and Degrees

We automatically award certificates after we email the student to let them know.



For degrees, if they haven't enrolled in the next semester, we email and let them know we will be awarding their declared degree but give them one week to opt out in case they are planning on returning.  We don't do this with our general studies degree - for those we email and let them know they are eligible but they have to apply.

We have done this for years and have had no issues.
