[Oacrao-l] April 2026 Council on Instruction notes

Hello All,

Following a discussion at the Spring Policy Workshop about how we can be better informed of the Council on Instruction (COI) discussions, I requested permission from Dr. Beauchamp to share notes relevant to the OACRAO membership. Dr. Beauchamp has graciously granted permission to share these notes.

Crystal Palacioz is OACRAO’s current COI representative. In her notes, the agenda items appear in black text, with her observations and discussion notes in blue. While care was taken to accurately capture the discussion, the notes may contain errors, omissions, or interpretations that do not fully reflect the speakers’ remarks or intent. Any such inaccuracies are the responsibility of the note taker and should not be attributed to, or construed as positions of, OACRAO, OSRHE, or the COI.

If you have any questions about the COI or the information contained in these notes, please contact your campus COI representative—typically your Provost or Chief Academic Officer.
