This is a reminder of OTAG program deadlines that apply to all participating institutions in Fall 2006.
Be reminded that each institution initiates their OTAG Award Claim Form process by either submitting a self-generated Award Claim Form (using only OTAG's formatted report template) or by requesting a pre-populated Award Claim Form from OTAG. It should be noted that pre-populated reports are provided only upon request.
Please contact the OTAG office if you have questions, need additional information or wish to receive a report template or pre-populated report.
* October 6, 2006: Each participating institution shall submit an initial fall semester award claim for all eligible OTAG students no later than Friday, October 6, 2006. The president or chief executive officer of any institution not submitting an initial claim by this date will be notified in writing within 5 business days.
* November 10, 2006: No further requests for awards, or for increases of individual awards already disbursed, for the fall 2006 semester will be accepted after November 10, 2006. Requests for exceptions due to extraordinary circumstances may be granted only upon approval of the Chancellor for Higher Education and must be submitted in writing to the Chancellor.
* November 28, 2006: Institutions shall notify the State Regents of any pending refunds that have not already been returned to the State Regents.
* December 1, 2006: The State Regents shall announce any changes in awarding criteria for the Spring 2007 semester.
