The University of Dayton invites nominations and applications for the position of Associate Director of Student Scholarships. This is a regular full-time twelve-month professional position in the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid. Founded in 1850 and located in Dayton, Ohio, the University of Dayton is a private, catholic, coeducational university dedicated to educating undergraduate, graduate, and professional students in a variety of disciplines.
As a member of the enrollment management team and reporting to the Director of Financial Aid, this is a key position playing a major role in the overall management of the student financial assistance program. Primary responsibilities include directing activities that relate to the development, management, coordination, and supervision of merit-based scholarship programs for undergraduate students.
Bachelor degree required. Preference given to persons with master degree and five to seven years of related experience. Desired qualifications include excellent interpersonal communication skills, a collegial
leadership style that values collaborative decision making, general knowledge of financial aid, admissions, and student recruitment, demonstrated success in working effectively with students, parents, faculty
and staff, familiarity with large-scale database software products, and a strong commitment to serving the public and promoting higher education to a
diverse population.
