The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid is seeking a dynamic
individual to become the Coordinator of Community Service Work-Study
Programs for Oklahoma State University. The Coordinator is responsible
for the development and management of a program of community service
employment opportunities for OSU Federal Work-Study students.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
§ Coordination of the OSU Federal Work-Study Program, both on-and
off-campus, including development of policy and procedure and
interpretation of regulations.
§ Coordination and continued development of the Community Service Program.
§ Implementation, coordination, and continued growth of the America Reads
and America Counts tutoring programs offered through the office.
§ Direct activities of front-line student staff in support of office
outreach mission.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPENSATION:
A minimum of a Bachelors Degree is required with 2 years administrative
experience working with students in a collegiate setting or experience
working with community service agencies. Strong organizational and
written/oral communications skills considered necessary. Group and public
presentation experience desirable.
The salary offered will be commensurate with the candidate's professional
experience. OSU offers an attractive Benefits Program that includes

LOCATION PROFILE:
Oklahoma State University is a comprehensive land-grant university serving
over 23,000 students in both Stillwater and at OSU-Tulsa. OSU is located
in Stillwater, a north central Oklahoma community, and is located one hour
from both Tulsa and Oklahoma City.
The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, which annually administers
programs that total approximately 120 million dollars, has a long history
of commitment of outreach to the community and innovative services for
students. The office has been recognized on two occasions by the U.S.
Department of Education's Institutional Quality Assurance Program as an
"Institutional Model of Quality."
