I encourage you to ensure that a staff member (teacher, counselor, administrator) from your school attend one of the EPAS workshops in teh state (see below). At these meetings, State Regents staff will disseminate a copy of ACTive Prep to all attendees. This CD would be a valuable asset to your school since you will have a site license (free) to use on as many computers as you have available for students to practice takign the ACT exams. Since ACT scores are one of the measures in the API, this is an opportuntiy for free resources which may assist with increasing ACT scores. I apologize that the calendar of workshops did not transfer well into this email. I think it is still readable. Your adminstrator should have received a copy of this letter directly from teh State Regents' office.

The Student Preparation Office of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education is hosting workshops for Oklahoma's middle level and high school educators on EPAS (EXPLORE, PLAN and ACT). All sessions will run from 9:00 to 12:00; refreshments will be served during registration beginning at 8:30.
The purpose of these workshops is to assist you in using the valuable EXPLORE and PLAN assessment reports in working with students and in your curriculum alignment and vertical teaming efforts. We will also be discussing the OK EPAS Extension Options; Practice ACT, Work Keys, ACTive Prep, and Discover.
Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education representatives will conduct an afternoon session from 1 to 3:30 for interested educators. The session will provide information on using EXPLORE and PLAN for Career Development and Planning.
If we can be of any assistance to you relative to interpreting and using your EXPLORE, PLAN, or ACT results, please contact one of the EPAS Field Coordinators:
