Karla,

At TCC we implemented our Survey Administration Guidelines<http://ira.tulsacc.edu/sites/default/files/u16/SurveyAdministrationGuidelines09_28_2017.pdf>. Let me know if you have any questions about how we implement it.

Thanks,
Jenn

Hi Karla,
At ECU we use the survey program Class Climate for any surveys related to courses, academic programs, and non-academic departments. These surveys are done through OIE so we are able to balance the type and number of surveys that are being sent to the students.
For "other" surveys (event feedback, sign up forms) our Marketing and Communications Department manages a Wufoo account for the university.
With these systems in place we are able to 1) protect the university from any IRB or legal issues, 2) students can differentiate between the types of surveys they are receiving, 3) helps with survey fatigue by planning deployments, 4) allows OIE to gather all of the data!, and 5) allows us to provide data that is already being collected instead of sending out another survey for the same information.

I am happy to provide more information or answer any additional questions you may have.

Good afternoon!

I am wondering if any of you have policies or procedures that provide guidelines on who may send out surveys to students. If you do, would you please share them with me?

Thanks for your help.
