[Okgrantsmanship] OK EPSCoR NSF Grants Workshop Registration Deadline May 1

The Oklahoma EPSCoR NSF Grants Workshop will be held Thursday, May 17,
2012, at the Nigh University Center on the University of Central
Oklahoma campus in Edmond. This annual event is designed to encourage an
increase in the quality and quantity of proposals submitted by Oklahoma
researchers to the National Science Foundation and other federal
agencies.  The workshop provides Oklahoma researchers and grant writers
with information on funding opportunities available to them, including
those from state and federal funding agencies, such as NSF, DOD, DOE,
NIH and OCAST.

Scheduled speakers include:

*	Jim Wicksted, Associate Director, Oklahoma EPSCoR
*	Jerry Malayer, State Director, Oklahoma EPSCoR
*	Garie Foryce, Program Manager, National Science Foundation
*	Rick Rainey, Venture Advisor, Innovation to Enterprise (i2E)
*	Steven Martinez, Programs Officer, Oklahoma Center for the
Advancement of Science and Technology (OCAST)
*	Darrin Akins, Director, Oklahoma INBRE
	Presentation title:  "NIH Grant Writing Tips: 101"
