GENERAL SUMMARY:  

The position provides leadership for institutional research, pursuit of
grants, and oversight of sponsored programs in alignment with the
university's strategic and master plans. The Director will focus on
strategic quality improvement that is student-centric,
accountability-driven and oriented toward institutional growth and
development. This position will develop, implement and monitor research
designs that produce value-added outcome measures to facilitate informed
decision-making and improve performance and competitiveness of the
institution. The Director will utilize a strategic approach to position,
research, pursue and support institutional efforts to secure external
funding through grants, contracts, donor relations and others sources.
