Dear colleagues,
Mark Watters, representative of Agate Software, called me to explain that the State agencies in Oklahoma now own this software. He would like to make a presentation to a group of folks that might be interested in using the grants component of the software for your institutional grant records. If you are interested, let me know so we can set up a video conference or teleconference and web presentation. I asked if there was a cost to use the software, and he responded with yes. The cost would be to customize the grant management system to your institution.

Thank you for taking my phone call, the contract (SW 855) we have set up is with the Office of Management and Enterprise Services in Oklahoma. I attached the portion of the contract that addresses the line items associated with pricing.  I would like to set up a demonstration of the OKGrants Software program for any public institution that receives grant funding and is looking for a process to manage the entire life cycle of this process in one centralized online database.  The demo from a high level perspective shows the following processes:

Grant application and submission
Budget and justification
Review and scoring
Approval and contract creation
Expense processing and fund disbursement, reallocation
Post grant and federal reporting, performance reporting- real time, ad hoc
On site monitoring, oversights, amendments
Grant Closeout

We have 8 offices (so far) that will be using the Software Program, they are:

The Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology (OCAST)
The District Attorneys Council (DAC)
                -Victims Services Division
                -Federal Grants Division
The Department of Commerce (ODOC)
Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET)
The Department of Public Safety (DPS)
                -Office of Homeland Security (OKOHS)
                -Office of Highway Safety (OHSO)
The Oklahoma Department of Health (ODOH)
