NORDP Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that William Paterson University is seeking an individual or a company to undertake the Research and Research-Related Development Mentor project as a consultant.  The RFP for this opportunity is available here<http://www.wpunj.edu/dotAsset/f9552b28-2510-4836-976f-b5e9d8002433.pdf> and on the Office of Sponsored Programs’ homepage, www.wpunj.edu/osp<http://www.wpunj.edu/osp>.  The primary activity of the consultant will be to develop the interest and capacity of a group of about 10 faculty to seek external support for research and research-related activities by providing appropriate levels of mentoring to focus their interests and prepare high quality proposals.  Additional activities will include providing training to the OSP staff and providing recommendations to the University on how to strengthen its practices regarding external support for research.  A more detailed description of the activity, information on how to submit a proposal, and other information is included in the RFP.  Proposals are due by December 12, 2014 for a project that will probably begin in February 2015.  Please contact me for additional information.
