We are very excited to announce the 2015 edition of our REU Site on High Performance Computing with interdisciplinary application projects of mathematics and statistics.

The program is conducted in 8 weeks from June 15 to August 07 2015. For all information and to apply by March 01, 2015, please visit http://www.umbc.edu/hpcreu.



All activities are conducted in teams, each supported by dedicated graduate assistants and faculty mentors. The instrution includes lectures and hands-on computer labs on C, MPI, Matlab/Octave, R, Linux, and LaTeX, using the state-of-art 240-node cluster in the UMBC High Performance Computing Facility (www.umbc.edu/hpcf<http://www.umbc.edu/hpcf>). The research projects are posed by application researchers from local industry and government agencies.
