[USAO-Robertson] Health and Safety Checks - Must Respond

Good afternoon,

USAO Housing and Residence Life conducts periodic Health and Safety Checks in the residence halls. The purpose of these inspections is to identify and address any health, safety, sanitation, and/or maintenance issues in student rooms.

There are 3 main reasons for Health and Safety Checks:

  1.  They encourage residents to be engaged in maintaining a clean and safe living environment and promote a better understanding of the expectations Housing has for students living on campus.
  2.  They prevent potential damage to rooms or other issues that impact the health, safety, and quality of life for all students living in the residence halls.
  3.  They assist in properly maintaining the condition of resident rooms and apartments.

Due to COVID-19, this year Housing is taking a different approach to Health and Safety. There will be one physical inspection each semester. The remainder of Health and Safety checks will be done virtually through the form of a short survey. Please take the time to complete the survey here:

It is important that you take this survey as seriously as if it were a physical Health and Safety Check. Failure to complete the form is the equivalent to failing, and charges could occur. The deadline to submit the check is this Wednesday, October 21st at 11:59 PM.
