[USAO-Robertson] 17th Street Road Closure-Tomorrow

Dear USAO Campus Community,



I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to inform you about a road closure on campus tomorrow that will affect campus travel.



Closure Details:

Location: 17th Street (Near Canning Hall)

Date: Tomorrow, July 23, 2024

Time: 9:00 AM to mid-afternoon



As many of you may have noticed, "Road Closed to Heavy Vehicles" signs have been in place on 17th Street for the past six weeks. These precautionary measures were necessary due to required repairs to ensure the structural integrity of 17th Street where it crosses an unused utility tunnel.



The repair work is now scheduled to begin tomorrow morning. During this time, 17th Street will be closed to all traffic at the site of the repair near Canning Hall. We anticipate the work will be completed by mid-afternoon, at which point the road will reopen for normal use.



Please note:

- Plan alternative routes for campus travel tomorrow

- Alert deliveries about this closure
