[Cobo] Capital Bond Editorial/Legislative Hearing

Please find the correspondence below that was sent to your Presidents
this morning.  The link to an editorial that was published in the
Oolagah Lake Leader on the capital bond issue has also been included.
The Presidents have been asked to contemplate the questions that may be
encountered as we move through the legislative process.  You may be
called upon to help prepare responses related to your institution's
proposed projects in preparation for the subcommittee hearing.

Hi All, 

 

There will be a hearing (not yet scheduled) on the bond issue in
Representative Tad Jones' education committee.  We expect that some
Presidents will be invited to come describe their capital projects. 

 

Joe Wiley sent an editorial published in the Oolagah Lake Leader at the
end of last week,  relating to the capital bond (see the link below).
You might want t look at it to see the level of questions that might be
asked in committee hearings or by other interested parties.
