[Counselors] Money for extra duties??

Right! And what is being done about it? Nothing. I used to have to come 5 days early in the Fall and stay 5 days late in Spring for nothing until a new counselor told them no. Then they divided what we made by180 and multiplied by 10 to pay us extra. The sad thing is it would cripple the schools--and rightly so--if we all refused all the extra work. Many schools do not have counselors because no one will do it. Know of a school who doesn't have football because no one will do it? Right!! Unfortunately you'll never get counselors to bond together and refuse.

 No I do not get an increase for
 anything I do except student information and website and it
 is very minimal. 
 I even have to teach all day on top of my counselor duties
 and only get the
 1000 for  having a master’s. I am consumed right
 now with the
 technology on top of testing because I am also the
 technology
 coordinator.  I am not sure what school you are from
 but most likely all
 of us are doing multiple jobs with little or no

 guys out there.  Do you get a base salary % increase,
 stipend, time sheet,
 or is it just part of your regular salary
