[Counselors] Pre-enrollment and schedule changes

We are working on reviewing our policies and procedures regarding pre-enrollment and schedule changes. Can you please share your policy and procedures regarding the request of a schedule change and the reasons you will change a schedule? Is this a written policy in your student handbook? How long do you give kids at the beginning of the year to request a schedule change and what is your process for them to request a change? What is your student enrollment? I am thinking small schools may handle it differently than larger schools so that would be interesting to know.
