[Counselors] Counselor Indian Ed Alumni Summer Institute is now open!

Good morning,

The registration for our Counselor/Indian Ed Alumni Summer Institute is live and ready for registration.  There are 75 spots available so if you know that you cannot attend, please do not register.
The dates are Tuesday evening, June 27, through Friday morning, June 30 at Quartz Mountain Lodge near Lone Wolf.

Below is what the form looks like, please have all of your information ready before you begin the registration as it will time out. You have to have a PO number or a check number.  You are not registered if you do not get a confirmation page after you hit submit.

                                    State Department of Education; Daniel Archer, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, OSRHE, information regarding concurrent enrollment; OK Promise updates and information with Carol Alexander;

Thursday, June 29:  Mini Presentations (these are going to replace round table discussions- this is for you to share a best practice, or 2, with the whole group -15 to 20 minutes long);
                                 Tashina Tahdooahnippah will present best practices for college career readiness for PK-12th grades;

                                  Indian Education Panel;

Friday, June 30:  Q & A with Chelsea Hunt, OSRHE, regarding OKcollegestart;
                            Oklahoma Teacher Connection- Collegiate Grants, Educators Rising, Lead Oklahoma, and Teach Oklahoma with Melissa Michie, OSRHE

Your room and meals are paid for (with part of the $75.00 registration fee). We will have plated meals for most of our afternoon and evening meals.  Matt and I specifically picked the meals and I think you will like them, you know how picky I am!   You will have your own room.  Every evening is free to you to do as you wish.  Our sessions will end around 4:30.
