We use lifelines program through Hazelden, for educating our staff and students. Excellent, evidenced program and it is easily modified.
Depending on what you need, I could come speak. I train my district personnel and am head of our district crisis team.

If any of your students are Native American, you could contact the tribe of those students. They are willing to come talk to groups of non- native peoples as long as a tribal member is present and the tribal member may benefit from their services. Contact the tribe’s social service department, domestic violence or child welfare departments and see if they have someone who will come and speak with your small group. They are usually free and have information about most of the resources available for those problems. You should also look up the different domestic violence coalitions in the state to see if they have anyone who would be willing to come speak to your small group.

Contact Heartline, Inc. at 405-840-9396. Ask about the school-based Suicide etc. Prevention Program. I worked with Megan Rollins, School-Base Prevention Coordinator. Unsure if she is still there. The Program is great. There's a program for parents, staff, and students. They provide complete service including handouts, etc.

You might check with local mental health agencies in your area. Sometimes they have programs they can present, or could send someone to do some small group talks.

I'm looking for information on low or no cost mental health speakers, presenters or programs. I would really like someone to come in and in small groups discuss/ present suicide/mental health and/or bullying. Thank you.
