[Eoscstudents] Be Well! EOSC's Wellness Week is March 2-5

Next week is Wellness Week at Eastern! Here is a list of fun and
informational activities for students, faculty and staff to promote a
healthy and positive lifestyle. Join in the Wellness Week Step Challenge
and you could win a $50 gift card (one for students, one for employees).

*Monday, March 2*

   - Faculty and staff are invited to a free, healthy lunch in Johnston
   Hall, Room 131 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (come-and-go)
   - Visit the information displays in the Cafeteria between 11 a.m. and 1
   p.m. to learn more about healthy habits and nutrition.
   - Participate in the Wellness Week Step Challenge (see details below)

*Tuesday, March 3*

   - Students are invited to enjoy a healthy breakfast in Johnston Hall
   from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
   - Visit the information displays in the Cafeteria between 11 a.m. and 1
   p.m. to learn more about healthy habits and nutrition.
   - Get some exercise with a jump rope activity and demonstration of basic
   yoga stretching in the Cafeteria between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
   - Go for a swim! The EOSC Pool will be open from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
   - Participate in the Wellness Week Step Challenge (see details below)

*Wednesday, March 4*

   - Visit the information displays in the Cafeteria between 11 a.m. and 1
   p.m. to learn more about healthy habits and nutrition. EOSC Nursing
   students will also provide free blood pressure and heart rate checks.
   - Get some exercise with a jump rope activity in the Cafeteria between
   11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
   - Participate in the Wellness Week Step Challenge (see details below)

*Thursday, March 5*

   - Drawing for the Wellness Week Step Challenge at Noon

*Wellness Week Step Challenge*
Students and Employees - You have been challenged. Participate in the
Wellness Week Step Challenge and you could win a $50 VISA gift card!

   - Take at least 6,000 steps per day on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
   - Use any type of tracking app on your phone, watch, FitBit, etc.
   - Take a screenshot of your daily step count and email it to Beth
   Kreutzer <bkreutzer at eosc.edu> or Melissa Juarez
   <mjuarez at choctawnation.com> (or show them in person)
   - If you reach 6,000 steps, you will earn one entry per day for a max of
   3 entries in the drawing.
   - Drawing is Thursday at Noon. There is one $50 gift card for students
   and one $50 for EOSC employees (faculty and staff).
