There are two upcoming opportunities for FSA Webinars in September that were
announced recently on IFAP. The link below should take you to the IFAP page
and the Dear Colleague Letters and I have copied their brief summaries
below. There is no charge for the webinars, but you do need to register in
advance. You will be sent a link before the webinar so that you can print
off the Powerpoint and resource materials in advance for use during the
webinar.

Summary: This letter announces Federal Student Aid's instructor-led, online
training sessions on the FISAP.

Dear Colleague:

We are pleased to announce instructor-led, online training that will focus
on the Fiscal Operations Report for 2008-2009 and the Application to
Participate for 2010-2011 (FISAP). This FISAP is available on the

must be submitted no later than October 1, 2009 by schools that participate
in the Federal Perkins Loan Program, Federal Supplemental Educational

will review the sections of the FISAP, identify changes made to the current

The training is intended for individuals on the financial aid and business
office staff who are responsible for completing the FISAP-especially those
who are new to completing the FISAP.

NASFAA is doing decentralized training through webinars as well this year,
but there is a significant cost attached, especially for non-members.
