Greetings OASFAA:

Attached please find the tentative agenda for our spring 2011 conference to be held April 13-15 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa this is also on the OASFAA website.

Please be reminded to register online for the conference at www.oasfaaok.com<http://www.oasfaaok.com/> by April 1st. If you use Internet Explorer, you will need to have version 7.0 or later to register. You should get an email from contact at oasfaaok.com<mailto:contact at oasfaaok.com> after you register, but some spam filters may block the email unless you add it to your "safe" list. This year's cost for the entire conference is $125 for school members and $175 for non-members. The cost will be $ 75 for one-day attendees.

The registration for vendors will be $125 for each vendor member to register for the entire conference and $175 for non-members. The cost will be $75 for one-day attendees. If a vendor would like to exhibit (have a table) there will be an additional $100 exhibitor fee. If exhibitor needs electricity there will be a $25 charge for the electricity.

If you have technical problems registering online, please contact Andrew Hammontree at ahammontree at francistuttle.com<mailto:ahammontree at francistuttle.com>.

If you have any questions regarding membership and registration costs please contact Carol Stanfield at cstanfield at tulsacc.edu<mailto:cstanfield at tulsacc.edu>.

For hotel reservations you can make them through the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino at 800-760-6700. The conference rate is $83.00 plus tax and you just need to tell them you are with the OASFAA conference. The deadline to make hotel reservations at the Hard Rock is March 12, 2011.

As the overflow hotel we have designated the Hampton Inn in Catoosa. The rate is $80.00 plus tax and reservations can be made by contacting the hotel at 918-739-3939.

Registration will open at 11:00 a.m. on April 13th and the conference will begin at 1:00 p.m. with a general session.

Also, please remember our service project, Citizens Caring for Children. This year they are calling their project "It's in the Bag". "It's in the Bag" will provide duffle bags to the Oklahoma foster children they serve. These children have been removed from their homes with nothing but the clothing on their backs and do not get the opportunity to go back to get a change of clothes, a blanket, a favorite toy or stuffed animal, or even a toothbrush. The bags will provide these children with the daily necessities most people take for granted.

Citizens Caring for Children is asking for medium sized zippered duffle bags filled with the toiletries (shampoo, soap (liquid or bar, but if bar please include a soap holder), brush and comb, fleece blanket, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste and floss).

As usual we will have schools divided into teams and will have a contest for the donations to the service project. More details will be sent out at a later date. Start looking for the items now.
