High School Counselors:

For the Fall 2018 semester, 2018 high school graduates may qualify for the Academic Scholars Program in the following ways:

            1. ACT/SAT Qualification
Any Oklahoma resident who scores a 135 sum of scores on the ACT or a 1580 SAT composite score will qualify for this scholarship. Test scores must be taken from a single official test report issued by ACT.
Application is available online at www.okhighered.org/academic-scholars<http://www.okhighered.org/academic-scholars>

            2. Nationally Recognized Awards
Students may qualify by achieving one of the following designations: National Merit Scholar, National Merit Finalist, or Presidential Scholar.
Students with the above designations should contact the Oklahoma college of their choice directly for information on applying to the program.

            3. Nomination as an Institutional Nominee
An additional avenue to qualify for this scholarship is called "Institutional Nominee." Each Oklahoma public college and university may nominate a specified number of students to receive the Academic Scholars award based upon criteria established by each institution. The criteria, deadlines and applications for this avenue will differ by institution. Students should contact the college of their choice for additional information.

If you should have any questions, please contact Linette McMurtrey at 405-225-9131.
