Please note in the attached notice of the People Soft training schedule that Higher Education will have special training sessions.  We are working with OPM to set up the dates and locations.  We will notify you once those are established.  Please do not enroll through OPM.  We will be coordinating the enrollment.  Thanks.

TO ALL STATE CORE COMMUNICATIONS LIAISONS

On the CORE website is the final schedule for CORE training. Below are the
links. The classes resume Monday, August 4, and will end September 30.   HR
Courses will be scheduled after integration testing is completed.  CORE
Communications Liaisons will need to refer enrollments for CORE workshops
to each agency's nominating official (training coordinator), if your agency
has one.

Please note the following:

*  Participants who took training in April and May do not have to retake
   the course.
*  Only those individuals who were identified by the agencies' CORE
   Communications Liaisons will be allowed to enroll in courses.  Course
   rosters will be checked and individuals not on the training matrix will
   be asked to wait until after go live.
*  Please enroll participants in only one session per course.
   Enrolling individuals in multiple sessions only creates problems and
   creates
   needless waiting lists.   If a person is confirmed for a course and
   later
   finds they cannot attend a particular date we will make every attempt to
   reschedule them.
*  Please note that courses may have multiple course codes.  Different
   training sites and different times (for half-day sessions) have
   different codes.  Please check the schedule for accuracy.  The course
   title is listed in the left hand column.  The titles remain the same for
   multiple sites.

*  Due to limited enrollment numbers, courses will only be offered in
   Oklahoma City and surrounding areas.  Some courses will also be offered
   in Tulsa.
*  Special sessions will be held for employees of Higher Education.  Those
   courses will be published through Bob LeFlore at the Regents for Higher
   Education.
