Hi All,

As promised, below is a link to the presentations I used yesterday for
the House Higher Education Committee (Why Is College Important?) and
this morning for the House A&B Education subcommittee (FY06 Funding
Overview.) Both committee meetings were very positive, with the members
demonstrating remarkable attentiveness and interest. We have
established good relationships with the members and they are genuinely
supportive. This morning's conversation was particularly laudatory of
two topics that were not on the agenda, namely the Cooperative Alliances
and concurrent enrollment.

You will note that in the last few slides of the A&B presentation (FY06
Funding Overview), we begin the campaign for the need for $162 million
in institutional support over the next two years.

Please feel free to use any of this material any way that would be
helpful. If you have difficulty opening either of these power points,
please contact Janet Jackson at 405.225.9116 or jjackson at osrhe.edu for
assistance.

Thanks,

  Paul
