I would not be opposed to installing the SP17 hotfix for 10.0 if someone will submit the ticket. Grade sync issues have been frustrating our faculty for several semesters.

Dear Valued Customer
In cooperation with one of our partners, McGraw-Hill and Desire2Learn have discovered an intermittent synchronization issue relating to the GradeSync Service which may affect your facility.
The issue has been isolated to a stored procedure causing deadlocks – thus preventing grades to sync from the LE to McGraw-Hill. A hotfix has been released in conjunction with the latest October Service Pack to remedy this.
The October Service Pack collection includes the following:
Learning Suite 10.3.0 SP1
Learning Suite 10.2.0 SP5
Learning Suite 10.1.0 SP13
Learning Suite 10.0.0 SP17
Service Pack Documentation can be found at https://community.desire2learn.com/ under Documentation > “Help Yourself” > “Releases” tab, click the link for Service Pack Documentation<https://community.desire2learn.com/d2l/lms/content/viewer/main_frame.d2l?cfql=1&tId=130577&ou=1947>.
Actions: To request your Service pack installation, please login to https://helpdesk.desire2learn.com and select “Request a Service Pack”. Self-Hosted clients will not see Service Packs available and will need to specify which Service Pack in the "Special Instructions" section. Clients on shared instances are not required to request their service pack. In addition to the service pack, Hotfix PM#109699 must also be applied for Software Defect PRB0042694 . Please include this in the “Special Instructions” section when requesting the service pack.
We understand the need to accommodate these deployment environments in off peak hours and will provide the necessary services to complete off hours deployments for Production environments as necessary.
