[D2l-alert] 10.3 upgrade reminder - OSRHE

Our upgrade is going to take 2 days!!? Did anyone else plan on this? Earlier communications said that our upgrade was scheduled for January 6th. We never planned for the upgrade to last through 4 PM on the 7th. Since this occurs at the first of our interim session, it will impact our users significantly. Is there anything you can do about this?

Hello,

This is just a reminder that your 10.3 SP1 prod environment upgrade is scheduled for Jan. 6th and 7th,  starting at 8:00am ET, and finish around 4pm ET on Jan. 7th.  Your site will be down for the duration of the upgrade. We will let you know once it is complete.

Also ensure that someone from IT is available on your side during the upgrade in case of any unexpected situations that we cannot handle.

Powershell 3 isn't compatible with D2L at this time. If this pertains to your environment, before we start the upgrade, please downgrade to Powershell 2 on all servers within this environment.

For this upgrade, Windows 2008 R2 is required.
